Auroguard HDPE Corrugated Drainage Pipes are flexible, lightweight, double-wall corrugated pipes with a smooth inner bore and structured corrugated outer profile manufactured from high-density polyethylene to IS 16098 / EN 13476. The corrugated profile provides high ring stiffness relative to pipe wall thickness, enabling significant weight and cost savings versus rigid concrete or PVC pipes. Available in perforated and non-perforated versions. Perforated pipes collect sub-surface water along their length (for sub-pavement drainage, slope toe drainage, edge drains). Non-perforated pipes convey stormwater in culverts and drainage networks. Supplied with rubber ring push-fit joints or coupler sleeves. Auroguard supplies 110mm to 1200mm diameter pipes for NHAI highway drainage, PWD road culverts, urban stormwater, and agricultural drainage projects.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is HDPE corrugated pipe used for in road construction?
HDPE corrugated pipes are used for road culverts (cross drainage), sub-surface drainage under road pavements, storm drainage networks, edge drains alongside carriageways, and agricultural drainage. The corrugated profile provides high ring stiffness while flexibility allows installation in curved alignments without joints.
What are SN4, SN8, and SN16 pipe stiffness classes?
SN (Stiffness Number) is the ring stiffness class of HDPE corrugated pipe. SN4 (4 kN/m²) suits shallow burial with low cover. SN8 (8 kN/m²) is for standard road and traffic applications. SN16 (16 kN/m²) is for heavy traffic and deep burial. Selection depends on installation depth and design traffic loading.
What sizes of HDPE corrugated drainage pipe does Auroguard supply?
Auroguard supplies HDPE corrugated pipes from 110mm to 1200mm diameter, in both perforated (sub-surface drainage) and non-perforated (culverts and storm drains) variants, compliant with IS 16098 and EN 13476.
